Hibiscus tea is an herbal, caffeine-free tea made from hibiscus flowers. It’s bright red in color, has a tart, fruity flavor, and is said to support numerous health benefits, such as lowering blood pressure. Hibiscus tea can be enjoyed hot or iced, and is available in most grocery stores.
Here's how to make your own cup of Hibiscus Tea:
Pour one cup of hot water over a bag of Hibiscus tea in your favorite mug, and steep for 1-3 minutes.
If you like your tea sweeter, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of honey (or your favorite sweetener).
To make iced tea, pour tea into a separate glass (such as a mason jar) over ice.
Stir and enjoy!
